Client Comment | | I am the person responsible for site selection, renovation budgets, the development of scopes of work and inspections and I am excited to start our first project with HDP. I'm looking forward to not feeling like I have to recreate the wheel for every house we put together a bid packet for. | | K. | Q. |
Why is Bid History used to calculate my new unit costs? |
| A. |
New unit cost data is calculated based on bids you’ve received at the line-item level of detail because it ensures that the unit costs you’re using for your cost estimates are as accurate as possible for you. Unit costs should be a reflection of your community, your housing stock, and your contractors; this is an improvement upon regional cost data or even zip-code cost data because it is very specific to you.
