HDP Specification File Download
We strive to regularly update the Library of Specs within Housing Developer Pro. Any users of HDP 3.5.8 or older versions are encouraged to download the new specs available below.

To import new specs and Checklists into Housing Developer Pro:
1. | Click “Download” above to download the file of specs |
2. | Save the file to your desktop or somewhere that you can easily find again |
3. | Open Housing Developer Pro, click on the “Tools” tab in the top left-hand corner, Click on “Import HDP 1/2/3 Data” |
4. | Under “Which version of HDP would you like to import data from?” select “Data is from Housing Developer Pro 3” |
5. | Under “Where is the spec data to import located?” click on the “…” button to select the path to the downloaded file. Once you've found the file, click "OK" |
6. | Review Specs for Import window will open. New specs from the file that do not conflict with your existing specs will automatically be imported. However, specs that are listed in this window do differ from your existing specs’ spec number or spec description. Double click on any spec to review and select which “Action to Take” |
7. | After all of the specs have been reviewed, click “Proceed with Import.” Import Complete window will appear to confirm that new specs have been imported |
