Why is HDP now an annual subscription?
After years of hearing from users that they purchased licenses then had staff or project load changes that left some of their licenses unused, we knew it was time to switch to a model that would give you more flexibility. Plus, having a subscription means you get software updates during your subscription period. Our goal is for this to be win-win for you.
Does my HDP 4.0 subscription renew automatically?
No, it doesn’t renew automatically. HDP will remind you when your subscription expiration is coming up and it’s time to renew. You can renew at any time.
When I install HDP 4.0, does all of my data from HDP3 convert over into HDP4?
Yep! Assuming you’re installing HDP4 on a computer that already has HDP3 on it, HDP4 will prompt you and ask if you want to use your HDP3 database. Make sure you say yes! All projects, specs, checklists, and everything will be converted.
Is a subscription for one computer?
Yes, a $250 subscription is for one computer for one year.
