HDP Licensing Methods

1. Electronically License over the Internet
• Naturally, this requires your computer to be connected to the Internet
• Run HDP and open the License window (under the Help menu)
• Go to the “License over the Internet” tab and enter the Transaction # (Note: negative sign is part of the Transaction #) and the Authorization Code listed on your purchase information
• Click the “License Electronically” button
• Your computer will automatically contact our license server for a License Code and license your installation



2. Manually license over the Internet
• Open a new browser to license here
• In the window displayed below, enter the Transaction # (Note: a negative sign – if it is present is part of the Transaction #) and the Authorization Code listed on your purchase information
• Click the 'Go' button
• Enter in the Security Code and System Code (found in HDP under the Help tab, License, then License Over the Phone tab). Select the contact name and click the 'Save' button
• Your License Code will be displayed. Copy the License Code into the Authorization #1 field and click the 'Verify' button


3. Email
• Email us and include your Security Code and System Code from the “License over the Phone” tab of the License window (under the Help menu and shown below) and we will reply with your Authorization Code. Enter the Authorization Code as directed and click the Verify button. Note: You must keep HDP 3 running while you wait for our email response.
